Winners payout at the 2022 LPGA Palos Verdes Championship

This week, the LPGA Tour event does not have any defending champions because it is the first time it is being played. Furthermore, the field this week includes the likes of Jin Young Ko, Brooke Henderson, and Danielle Kang. A total of 144 female professionals are competing with the cut line determined after the second round on Friday. As a result, only the top 70 players and ties made it to the weekend.

The total prize money purse of the event stands at $1.5 million, with the winner taking home a prize money share worth $225,000. The winner’s percentage is the standard 15 percent per the Tour’s prize-money distribution chart.

Apart from the decent paycheque, the winner will also earn 500 Race to the CME Globe points, which will help the female professional to get into the top 60 to qualify for the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship. At the same time, the winner will also get a two-year exemption on the LPGA Tour.
