Former Super Bowl MVP Who Dealt Tom Brady His Most Devastating Loss Released By Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears have been facing some trade troubles with one of their team’s quarterbacks. Following the addition of veteran presence, Trevor Siemian to the Bears’ quarterback huddle, Chicago has indeed been seeking to trade Nick Foles, Siemian’s fellow standby. However, it now looks like the Super Bowl MVP, who gave Tom Brady one of his most unfortunate career losses, is now let go by the franchise.

Nick Foles has been someone who has traveled to various places in his entire career. It’s often difficult to believe he’s only 31 years old. From a mediocre pick in the draft to a Super Bowl hero, destroying a Super Bowl hope of Tom Brady. The quarterback has been through it all in his professional football career.

The Bears have decided to release QB Nick Foles, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, who obtained the information through Foles’ representative, Justin Schulman.

Foles was a third-round pick by the Eagles in 2012. He completes his initial three seasons with the team, finishing 15-9 and earning a Pro Bowl berth in 2013. Before entering the Bears, he went 4-7 with the Rams in 2015, 1-0 with the Chiefs in 2016, and 2-1 with three postseason victories in 2017. He stands 4-1 in five appearances for the Eagles in 2018, and 0-4 with the Jaguars in 2019.

Rather than dealing with Foles, the Bears are allowing him to choose his following NFL team as an unrestricted free agent. The 2022 NFL Draft is already on the scene. Some clubs, such as the Seattle Seahawks and Houston Texans, could use some major veteran quarterback help. He can now pick what comes afterward under his own ground.
