Henry Cejudo vs Marlon Vera? Former Double Champ Sets His Eyes on UFC Vegas 53 Showstopper: “Chito Vera Is a Problem”

Marlon Vera just blew open social media platforms with his win over Rob Font. He left Font in a bloody mess by the end of the fight at UFC Vegas 53. Despite all the pressure from Font’s side, Vera was a class apart in the fight. The manner of Vera’s win saw Henry Cejudo direct his attention to him.

The former double champ has his sights set on Vera after his performance against Rob Font. Cejudo took to Twitter to express how impressed he was with Vera’s performance and also let him know that he might be a possible opponent.

Chito Vera is a Problem with a capital P! I got my eye on you  @chitoveraUFC,” tweeted Cejudo.

This was just the latest attempt by ‘The Messenger’ to tease fans about a return.

Is Henry Cejudo coming back to the limelight?

The former UFC double champ has made it more than clear that he wants to get another slice of the pie that the promotion is having currently. A premature retirement seems to have re-invigorated ‘Triple C’, and hence, he wants another crack in the octagon.

Cejudo has called out various fighters since expressing his interest in coming back to the UFC spotlight. Unfortunately, things don’t look that good for Cejudo as he wants a title fight, but UFC President Dana White wants ‘Triple C’ to win a few bouts and earn a championship match.

Dana White stated that trash-talking on Twitter would not get Cejudo the fight he wanted. This seems to be something that Triple C isn’t too fond of.
