Rob Font missed weight ahead of the bout

Earlier, the New England Cartel fighter missed weight and weighed 138 lbs on the scales. However, in the first round, he looked on point with his jab, and his hands in general looked crisp.

However, the later rounds were tougher for Font. Did the weight cut affect his ability to take shots? Or did Marlon Vera’s constant leg kicks and left hooks secure him the win?

Anyhow, Font, apart from getting tagged constantly at the end of the rounds, showed brilliant pace and completed the fight.
