Khabib Nurmagomedov Spends Eid With Hasbulla as Henry Cejudo Hijacks Their Celebrations With UFC “Contract” Demand

Khabib Nurmagomedov is perhaps the biggest Muslim athlete in combat sports right now. The Russian combatant competed at the highest level in mixed martial arts and came out of the sport unscathed. Even in his current role as Eagle FC’s promoter, he is taking big steps.

Apart from his business ventures, the former UFC lightweight also shares a great relationship with other personalities in the industry. The internet sensation Hasbulla Magomedov is one great example of it.

Recently, Nurmagomedov noted an Eid message for his over 30 million followers, and the little internet star was giving him company.

The Dagestan-born, carrying Hasbulla in his lap, wrote on Instagram, “Eid Mubarak dear brothers and sisters”

With the conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan, Nurmagomedov and Hasbulla were together for Eid. However, the former flyweight & bantamweight champion didn’t take the occasion into consideration and had a challenge for the little viral sensation, Hasbulla.

Cejudo has often stated his interest to fight Hasbulla. Even though it appears more of a comical ask and Cejudo is only looking for the attention with his callout, perhaps he botched the timing on this particular occasion.

Also, this is not the only time that Henry Cejudo got embarrassed by his reply to Khabib Nurmagomedov’s post.

The mini internet superstar has shared multiple moments with the undefeated lightweight UFC champion. One such interesting moment came when the two met in a gym.

During their time at the gym, the former Russian Sambo champion appeared to improve Hasbulla’s hands as he taught him some boxing skills. Subsequently, Hasbulla showed what he learned as he punched ‘The Eagle’ on his palm. Nurmagomedov moved his hand as he was hurt; In addition, Nurmagomedov faked a knee toward Hasbulla.

Later, it appeared, the two chilled out after the training as Nurmagomedov and Hasbulla were sitting together while the former was engaging in an argument with someone.

Anyhow, Cejudo jumping in on an occasion like Eid perhaps wasn’t the best thing to do. However, ‘Triple C’ has previously stated that he doesn’t take any ‘prisoners’ and everyone needs to ‘bend the knee.’
