Cat Deeley has hit us with a wave of nostalgia once again after reuniting with her former SMTV co-stars Ant and Dec for an ‘incredible’ evening.

The 45-year-old presenter uploaded a series of snaps on social media alongside the Geordie Duo as they celebrated a joyous get-together with the SMTV and CD:UK family.

Alongside the pictures, she tweeted: ‘Couldn’t have asked for a more incredible evening reuniting with @AntAndDec and our entire #SMTV & #CDUK family this weekend.

‘All our yesterday’s! It will bond us forever 💕’

SM:TV Live launched in 1998 and was hosted by Ant, Dec, and Cat until 2001.

During their time on the show, the team was known for hilarious sketches including Chums – a spoof of friends that saw the trio living together and having celebrity guests cameo.

The selfies sparked a big reaction online, with one person writing: ‘SMTV was the epitome of childrens TV, and holds great memories for those 80s and 90s kids! On behalf of all of us who experienced it every Saturday morning. Thankyou! It’s a shame that there will be nothing quite like it again.’

‘We still need a proper Saturday morning reunion episode after yours and @antanddec’s retrospective special. Actually, we need a series!’ another added.

As for Ant and Dec, The iconic duo are returning to their roots from the children’s TV show Byker Grove, which hit screens in 1990 and is basically responsible for making Saturday nights what they are today.

PJ and Duncan have made a comeback for an advert for Santander, for whom the presenters became ambassadors in 2019.

New photos show the loveable twosome larking around on bikes and wearing baggy sweatshirts and rucksacks.

Ant was seen in a bright yellow hoodie and seriously baggy jeans, completing his look with a baseball cap and red backpack.

As for Dec, the dad-of-one donned light-wash jeans, a green sweater, and a bomber jacket, looking extra cool with a gold chain and blue cap, which he wore backwards.
