Charles Leclerc, George Russell, and Lando Norris Form Elite F1 Trio With This Shocking Stat

F1 drivers Charles Leclerc, George Russell, and Lando Norris are the only drivers to maintain a 100% finishing record in the current season. This is an astonishing fact, as it gives you an idea of the number of incidents in the opening races. These are the only three out of a grid of twenty drivers who have stayed out on the track for all four races so far.

Now, the question remains if the three can maintain this record at the Miami Grand Prix? Mercedes pair of Lewis Hamilton and George Russell has completed all laps but one. Lewis is on the list with 227 laps. Meanwhile, the trio of Leclerc, Norris, and Russell are at 228 each. And apart from the Silver Arrows, no other team features on the list twice.

Talking about maintaining the record, Charles Leclerc spun out during the race at Imola. An incident that could’ve been worse for the Monegasque and his team. But the spin cost Charles and Ferrari vital points as he finished the race at P6, his worst finish in the opening four races.

Now, Mclaren’s Lando Norris is the third person on the list who has completed all races. The Brit has been impressive in the last two races, with a podium at Imola. Certainly, a déjà vu finish to last year’s Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.

The opening four races have been eventful and full of incidents and retirements. Furthermore, even with Red Bull’s reliability issues, Sergio Perez made the top 10 with 227 laps. However, his teammate and current world champion Max Verstappen has only finished two out of the four races.

But all the teams apart from Mercedes have shown signs of improvement at Imola. And we will hopefully see some more reliable and competitive races in the coming weeks.

F1 comes to Miami for the first time

The inaugural Miami Grand Prix is an exciting prospect for fans and drivers alike. With zero experience and knowledge ahead of FP1, it will be a clean slate for all drivers.

Miami being a street race, there will be a high probability of crashes and incidents throughout the weekend.
