Emmerdale fans convinced they’ve solved Faith Dingle’s secret – and it’s bad news for Cain

FAITH Dingle has been keeping yet another secret from her son Cain – and ITV viewers believe they’ve figured it out.

Following recent scenes of Emmerdale, fans are convinced the tough guy isn’t Faith’s son after all.

Could writers have come up with a new DNA twist?

For year, Cain Dingle (played by soap legend Jeff Hordley) has been known as Chas’ brother and Faith’s (Sally Dexter) son.

But the latter has been keeping something under wraps from the mechanic and Emmerdale fans are sure they’ve discovered her secret.

According to them, there’s a chance Cain is not biologically related to Faith.

One Emmerdale viewer took to social media to share the theory: “She’s not Cain’s birth mother think she reared him as her own from very young.”

They quickly found support as another fan commented: “I saw someone else mention that before!”

When questioned by another fan, they replied: “As I said I read it on a magazine I also stated that I did not know if it was true reread my comments thanks!”

“We shall see if it’s true or not either I be eating my words or you will be eating yours”, they added.

Faith and Cain’s relationship has always been rocky as she abandoned him at an early age.

Since then, most of her actions have hurt the Emmerdale tough man.

She has notably kept Cain’s link to Nate Robinson, his son, a secret from him.

Faith has tried to mend her relationship to Cain but has continuously failed.

During Monday’s episode of Emmerdale, she was accused of drinking excessively when Cain bumped into her.

He then proceeded to ask her to look after his children, which she refused without explaining why she couldn’t do him the favour.

But when Faith was later seen having a drink in the Woolpack, Cain was clearly disgusted.

“Too busy doing shots to look after your own grandkids”, he said.

“I am not doing shots, I just need something to give me a bit of a lift, if you must know”, Faith replied, implying she had had a bad day.

Could this involve keeping a harrowing secret from her own son?

Could her health be on the line again?
