“For the Haters” – Dale Earnhardt Jr Compares Polarizing Door Bumper Clear Cast to Kyle Busch Amidst R-Rated Word Controversy

With a 1-2 finish and their other 2 drivers, Noah Gragson and Sam Mayer finishing 4th and 5th, respectively, the Xfinity race at Dover saw a great result for JR Motorsports. Surely, we can say that Dover was a successful weekend for Dale Earnhardt Jr and Hendrick Motorsports. Justin Allgaier ran the Door Bumper Clear livery on his car in which he finished 2nd. Door Bumper Car is another podcast run by Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s Dirty Mo Media.

Dale Jr. is particularly happy about the great finish, and he specifies why. In a recent episode of the Dale Jr. Download, Earnhardt goes on to talk about how the haters made him want the car to win.

He said, “There’s so many people that love the Door Bumper Clear show, and then there’s some people in the industry that do not love it. And, boy do I hear from them! So that made me want the car to win. For the Haters!”

Dale Earnhardt Jr. Believes That The Haters Are Important

However, NASCAR wouldn’t have the same charm if there were no haters. And Earnhardt Jr. sheds some light on the matter too.

No one likes the Haters, while some agree with them at times, others don’t. However, the haters are still vital for a sport. In fact, Dale Jr. talks about the importance of haters, especially pointing out Kyle Busch as he said, “I don’t always agree with them, and they are hard on us, they give us a hard time. But, kinda like Kyle Busch, he’s necessary. You might not love his personality, you might not love his attitude, you might not love the things he says or does. But our sport needs that complexity, everybody can’t be the same?”

In the end, Dale Earnhardt Jr. is probably right about the importance of haters. They add to the entertainment and add more complexity to the sport. Fortunately, JRM placed all their cars in the Top-5! And, the Door Bumper Clear car summed up a great weekend by finishing 2nd for the team.
