I forked out £236 for a dress to wear a wedding…It’s so short, people say I look like one of the Powerpuff girls

A FASHION lover was left in hysterics after a major blunder made her look like one of the Powerpuff girls.

Online shopping is very much like gambling – with thousands of brands and often misleading adverts, you can never quite now what’s going to arrive – and no one knows it better than this shopper.

Left in stitches, some said the short dress made her look like one of the Powerpuff girlsTikTok/@valll_nicole

Taking it to TikTok, one user, Valerie Nicole, revealed the fail in a clip, which has since gone viral, racking up a whopping 760,000 views in just one day.

Getting ready for a wedding, the woman, from Austin, Texas, was scrolling online to find a dress.

There she stumbled upon a rather pricey garment – a short dress in baby blue and pink with large puff sleeves.

Despite the hefty price – the dress retailed for £236 on Revolve – Valerie decided to bag the goods before patiently waiting for the postman to deliver them.

However, as excited as she was, the woman was in for a big disappointment, as the dress was couldn’t have been any further from her expectations.

Posing in front of a large mirror, the online shopper was in stiches and demonstrated just how short the garment really was.

Extremely puffy with sleeves longer than in the photo online, the dress was so revealing, it was barely enough material to cover Valeria’s bottom half.

One wrong move or a stronger gush of wind and her privates would be on show.

Though, luckily, Valerie had managed to find the funny side of the fail and the clip had left people in hysterics, there were also a few who thought she had a questionable sense of fashion.

”Why would you order that lol it was awful from the beginning,” read one of the top comments which has been liked more than 2,000 times.

”Even if that looked like the picture… you were going to wear that to a WEDDING?” a second person seemed to be baffled, whilst someone else couldn’t seem to understand how Valerie was ready to spend that much money on the garment.

A mortified shopper shared their experience: ”I literally bought some dresses from this website and the material is horrible looks cheap. Never buying again.”

Another said that this was what it’s like to find a cute dress as a person 5’9ft and taller.
