LeBron James’ 4 Word Response To Liverpool’s UEFA Champions League Victory Sends NBA Twitter In A Meltdown

LeBron James is one of the greatest basketball players to ever step on that court. One of the most elite, one of the best. With basketball being his sport and him being King James, he also has many investments in business ventures. Among many investments, he owns a small part of the English soccer club Liverpool FC.

Securing a small stake in Liverpool FC has turned out to be a shrewd move by basketball superstar LeBron James. The Los Angeles Lakers star bought 2% of Liverpool with his business partner Maverick Carter for 6.5 million dollars in April 2011. It proved to be a shrewd move, as well as a highly lucrative one. James would have loved last night when Liverpool advanced to the UEFA Champions League.

Although LeBron’s investment has not increased much in terms of the value of the club yet it seems to be the case that their luck has certainly changed for the better.

They have been at the top of the pile in the race for the league title in recent years. They have reached their third UEFA Champions League final in five years. Liverpool reached the final after beating the Spanish side Villareal over two legs.

NBA Fans react to LeBron James celebrating the Liverpool win

LeBron tweeted to celebrate the victory of Liverpool in both legs of the UEFA Champions League. They were tested well during the first half of the second leg but came away with the victory. They advanced to the final with an aggregate win of 5-2.

PARIS HERE WE COME!!!!!!!! @LFC

The 4 worded message, “PARIS HERE WE COME” clearly showed how excited LeBron was. However, some NBA fans did not particularly ‘like’ or ‘vibe’ with LeBron’s enthusiasm.

This Liverpool team is the first team in English football history to:
•Have already won the Carabao Cup
•Be in the FA Cup final
•Be in the Champions League final
•Be a point off Top of the League

There has NEVER been a team as close to a Quadruple, as we are right now.

Liverpool are indeed the closest they have ever been to winning everything an English team can participate in. They are in the top 2 for the Premier League title, finals of UEFA Champions League, and FA Cup. They have already won the Carabao Cup against Chelsea in early March as the game went into extra time and then they won it in penalties. Liverpool have already one trophy and now have their eyes set out on the other three trophies.

As for LeBron, the season with the Lakers came to a disappointing end with him on the sidelines and their play-in tournament hopes dying in the process. It was one of the worst seasons from the Lakers‘ perspective, even though LeBron in his 19th season had an unreal impact. LeBron and the Lakers would hope to turn the tide around the next season and be where their reputation precedes them.
