Wetherspoons could hike prices AGAIN as it warns of ‘cost pressures’

WETHERSPOONS could hike prices again as the pub chain warned of rising costs.

The hospitality firm’s boss Tim Martin today said labour, food and energy costs have increased.

“As many hospitality companies have indicated, there is considerable pressure on costs, especially in respect of labour, food and energy,” he said.

“Repairs are also running at a higher rate than before the
pandemic.”

He also warned that the “biggest threat” to hospitality and tourism businesses is “the possibility of future lockdowns and restrictions”.
