In a viral video that’s racked up over 220,000 views, TikTok user Elisa shared her simple tip which helps her figure out if a new pair of jeans will fit without having to try them on.
She explained: “Don’t feel like trying on jeans? Try this out.”
To quickly judge how they’ll fit, Elisa used her forearm to measure the waistband.

She continued: “If [your elbow and fingertips] won’t fit, it’s too tight.
“If you still have room, it’s going to be too big.
“And if it fits perfectly, then those are the jeans for you.”
Elisa captioned the clip: “Feeling bloated or just don’t feel like trying on jeans period, her you go!”
