I work at Dollar Tree – customers understand why the shelves are always empty when I show the stock room I work in
A VIRAL video appears to show chaos in the backroom of a Dollar Tree store with boxes stacked nearly to the ceiling.
In the video, TikToker Dessy claims to be a merchandise manager who came back from vacation to find the stock room in total disarray.
One Dollar Tree employee posted a video of a packed stock room after being on vacation for three weeks

In the TikTok, Dessy says that none of the other staff made an effort to break down any of the boxes that were delivered while Dessy was on a three-week holiday.
Not only that, but they made no attempt to stock Dollar Tree’s shelves with merchandise, the TikToker claims.
Dessy said when the coworkers were asked why no one unloaded the boxes, the employees claimed: “The store manager was canceling shifts.”
The TikToker also said the store was expecting another shipment of 2,000 items.

That’s when Dessy revealed that they planned to quit and start looking for work elsewhere after seeing the mess.
At the end of the TikTok, the worker reveals they were offered a job at Lowe’s.
Commenters on TikTok were shocked by the mess.
“All them boxes that store must be buttnaked…I’d close the store for a day and have the staff restock,” wrote one TikToker.

“They’re wrong for that,” wrote another.
“At this point imma start shopping in the storage room,” wrote another.
Some commenters, however, weren’t on Dessy’s side.
“You went on a 3 week vacation and didn’t leave clear, concise instructions for how it’s supposed to be done, it’s always the manager’s fault,” wrote one user.
This isn’t the first time a Dollar Tree video has gone viral on TikTok.
TikToker @x_bazan06 said that a Dollar Tree location in Austin, Texas had to close for three days because the only employee, the manager, went on vacation.
“I went [away] for three days. That’s why the store was closed for three days,” the worker, identified by the TikToker as a manager, says.
“[I’m the] only worker.”
“They left her to stock this whole store by herself,” a voice is heard off-camera. “No bathroom breaks.”

The TikToker also claimed people “who don’t even work here” were unpacking boxes and loading items onto shelves and into freezers.
Dollar Tree did not immediately respond to The Sun’s requests for comment about the videos.
