WATCH: Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce Dominates With 10.64 Seconds at Kip Keino Classic

The Kip Keino Classic 2022 saw one of the most anticipated races in the 100-meters. Jamaica’s Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce dominated the race and won it comfortably. Thus, she is back with a bang, aiming to get back on top of the list. As the 2022 World Athletics Championships is just around the corner, this victory provides a monumental boost to her chances.

US sprinter Sha’Carri Richardson withdrew from the competition and did not appear for the race. On the other hand, Christine Mboma, another favorite pulled out of the competition after suffering an injury. Yet again, Fraser-Pryce shows her class even at the age of 35.

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce dominates the 100-meters

Coming into the race by being the woman with the third-fastest time, Fraser-Pryce looked incredible. She set a time of 10.67 into -0.4 headwind and finished the race incredibly well. This is the sixth fastest time in the 100-meters race. Second place went to Bassant Hemida with a time of 11.02. The bronze went to Shannon Ray from the USA as she set a time of 11.33.
