THEY are competing against each other in a series of Olympic style challenges, and the show has kicked off with synchronising diving.

Showing off their athletic figures after months of training, Christine and Olivia wowed in their swimming costumes.

Love Island star Olivia, who has a sporting background, looked very confident as she walked along the diving board.

Christine was spotted embracing Harry Potter star Josh Herdman after making her debut.

Ryan Thomas appeared a little apprehensive as he made his way along the board in his swimming trunks.

The Games’ Christine McGuinness & Olivia Attwood flash abs training for ITV show

Corrie star Colson Smith opted to wear a wet top for his dive, while Wes Nelson picked swim shorts.

The gang, which also includes Emmerdale’s Rebecca Sarker, newsreader Lucrezia Millarini, songwriter and footballer Chelcee Grimes,  model Phoenix Brown and Max George, all looked in good spirits as they waited their turn.

Olivia’s appearance comes amid reports that she kicked up a stink over the way she looked and insisted on a hair and makeup team for every sporting event she does on the show – even the swimming.

A source said: “Olivia will have a hair and make up team in London with her during the filming of the live show.

“It has been pointed out that she will look daft next to her co-stars who will look more natural but she doesn’t care.”

The Games is being hosted by Holly Willoughby and Freddie Flintoff.

Alex Scott is on board as a pitch side reporter while Chris Kamara is the show’s commentator.

As well as diving the group will take part in cycling and running.

They will rack up points on the leader board in a bid to be crowned either the male champion or the female champion.

Live coverage of the events will air every night on ITV at 9pm from tomorrow, with pre-recorded segments covering the gruelling training.
