Conor McGregor Breaks His Silence to Respond to Michael Chandler’s Volatile Call-out at UFC 274

The highly-anticipated clash between Tony ‘El Cucuy’ Ferguson and Michael Chandler just concluded, producing a gut-wrenching result for the UFC veteran. Ferguson who once registered a 12-fight-win streak in the lightweight division has now lost 4 fights in a row.

The former interim champ managed to secure a dominant first round, but everything changed in the second. Chandler made an outstanding adjustment on the fly and landed a powerful front kick KO that reminded the world of Anderson Silva & Lyoto Machida. ‘Iron’ Michael Chandler issued a call out to title challengers and extended an invitation to Conor McGregor.

He said,” I got one dude on my mind… Conor McGregor. You gotta come back and fight somebody. I am the most entertaining lightweight on the planet, but I wanna up the stakes Conor, I want you at your biggest, I want you at your baddest, and I want you at your best. You and me at 170, this summer, this fall, this winter, holla at your boy. God bless, I ll see you at the top.”

The Irish superstar offered a response right on and agreed to face the UFC star. With a 3 fight-losing skid in the light division and a negative record, McGregor has set his sight on the 170lbs division.

I’d have a nice knock off this guy, no doubt about it. A firework spectacle. I like the 170 shout also. Tipped him over. I’m definitely game to fight this guy at some stage in my career. I see it happening after tonight. Congrats on a solid win Michael and another barnstormer.
