The 6-foot-11 recorded his first career strikeout in MLB. Coming to his height, Hjelle tied the record of the tallest pitcher with retired Jon Rauch. Now, Sean Hjelle, along with Jon Rauch, is the tallest pitcher in the history of MLB.

Many fans reacted to his height with his team’s name, the San Francisco Giants. Some referred to him as a giant playing for the Giants, while some said that he is playing the wrong sport.
