“F1 Simply Cares More Than NASCAR” – Fans React to Glamorous Miami GP Featuring Michael Jordan, Serena Williams & Tom Brady
F1 was in the United States of America last week. The Sunshine state saw Miami host the first-ever race in the Magic City. The organization of the race was on a different level. It was so sumptuous that the NASCAR fans started calling out their dissatisfaction with their sport.
F1 has always been a glamorous sport globally. Even though it’s yet to flex its wing fully in the North American country, the sport has taken the motorsport world by storm in the last couple of years. Regarded as the most popular form of Motorsports, F1 is the second most popular form of a car racing series in the United States after NASCAR.
Admittedly, the race in Miami saw a huge influx of global superstars based in the United States. The Grand Prix event saw the likes of Michael Jordan, Serena Williams, David Beckham, and Tom Brady, who are very popular in the US, attend the mega event. Moreover, there was a long list of celebrity DJs lined up for the pre-race and post-race celebrations.
NASCAR fans reacted to F1’s race coverage
The massive organization, huge celebration, and overall extravaganza in the Miami F1 Grand Prix insisted the NASCAR fans shell out their disappointments. The fans argued that NASCAR doesn’t have the level of coverage that F1 has. The fans also expressed that they were pretty disappointed with the way the broadcasters broadcast the races. On top of that, a fan added that F1 cares about everything more than NASCAR.

Moreover, the Cup Series had a race in Darlington on the same day and at the same time as that of F1. Joey Logano crossed the chequered flag to take home his first win of the season. Whereas Max Verstappen detained his American Grand Prix title once again after the win in Miami.

I hope NASCAR figures out… how to get 1.1 million viewers!

And yet fox tends to stick with the goofy bs. This is reasons why F1 will always be better.

A big reason I was attracted to F1 years ago is because the broadcasters treat every single race like it’s a big deal. Even before the Sky team took over, guys like Varsha, Hobbs, and Matchett made sure to convey the importance of each event.

I love @SkySportsF1 pre-race and post race. Oh yeah the race itself is FANTASTIC. But, damn espn decided they are going to give us there own pre-race show :(. I’d rather watch the sky sports pre race.
