Shaquille O’Neal Narrates Unheard Story of His Father Preparing for Violence if He Disobeyed a Lakers Memo vs 76ERS

Game 4 between Phoenix Suns and Dallas Mavericks ended with a victory for the Mavs. Luka Doncic guided the Mavs to victory as he controlled the game for them. On the other hand, Chris Paul had one of the worst games of his career. However, it was not the only unfortunate involvement he had during the game.

Chris Paul accused some fans of misbehavior on their part. He claimed that his family had been a victim of violence during the game. Shaquille O’Neal, Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith, and Charles Barkley discussed the whole fiasco on TNT. And Shaq shared a story of his father from his playing days.

“I can remember when we were playing Philadelphia in the Lakers and it was like you know if you win this game you can’t celebrate. They sent out a memo to us. So i called my father, said daddy, they said you know they don’t want to celebrate on the floor today. So he called me the next morning. He said, ‘I need five tickets.’ I said, ‘what you need five tickets for?’ [His father said] ‘I’m bringing some of my homeboy down.’ ” Shaq explained how the Lakers used to get a memo for not celebrating a win in Philadelphia because of the nature of Philly fans and how his father used to react to it.

Chris Paul furious with the misbehavior from fans towards his family

Paul took to social media to claim that his family was the victim of violence during the game. After Paul fouled out of the game early in the fourth quarter, he was seen talking to security inside the American Airlines Center in Dallas. Apparently, he was upset about something that happened in the stands.

Wanna fine players for saying stuff to the fans but the fans can put they hands on our families….fuck that!!

Chris Paul was seriously pissed off, to say the least. There may have been a misunderstanding, but the way the officials handled the situation makes it difficult.

Fans have misbehaved in the past and there have been steps taken to avoid or punish the said fan. Necessary steps have been taken. However, it is fans who must also act responsibly. Such actions are completely unacceptable. The NBA is trying its best to avoid such altercations because the involvement of fans and a connection between the stars and the spectators makes the NBA special.
