Stanislas Wawrinka Says He Produced a New Movie During His Injury Recovery and Return to Professional Tennis

Stanislas Wawrinka is a big-match player. He is renowned for thriving on the big stage in tennis. Moreover, he has carved a niche for himself while being in the shadows of the Swiss maestro, Roger Federer. Over his illustrious career, Wawrinka has managed to win three Grand Slam titles.

However, the 37-year-old had a difficult time due to injuries recently. Last year, he suffered a foot injury that kept him out of action for over a year. Wawrinka made a comeback from his lengthy injury layoff at the Marbella Challenger tournament in March this year.

Further, he added, “Of course, as I’m still a tennis player, you need to have still the discipline. Even in rehab you need a big discipline to keep doing every day the right thing. You can’t just say, whatever, I will see you in two days or three days.” Asked whether he produced a movie. Wawrinka said, “Yes. In France.”
