Her followers were worried the news meant he would be missing the show, forcing Lucy, 30,  to go online and clear up any confusion.

She told her followers: “Ha, not my bubba. Don’t worry you will see Ryan Thomas and his bum on The Games.”

Ryan, 38,  previously admitted he feared she would give birth while he was taking part in the competition.

He said: “I know that it’s imminent and that it’ll be happening any time soon, and I know it will be during the show,” he said.

THE FAMILY WAY

“But I’m keeping my fingers crossed that that’s not the case and we can get the job done.

“We’re not far from here to get to the hospital, so that’s good!”

Lucy and Ryan are already parents to son Roman, two, and are excited to be expecting a baby girl.

The former Towie star previously told Hello: “I had an inkling that I was having a girl, but I was a bit more unsure than with Roman.

“With him I just knew – I don’t know why but even before we found out, I said: ‘I know, one hundred per cent, it’s a boy.’”

Lucy and Ryan met when they were both starring in Channel 4 reality series, The Island with Bear Grylls.

They got engaged two years later while on holiday in Italy.

But their nuptials are on the backburner for the moment, with Lucy joking that they struggle to make time for dates, so organising a wedding could take them a while.

“Life is different now – there’s more communication but less spontaneity,” she said.

“It’s a different dynamic, but it’s just as special, if not more so. We’ve become a really good team. But it’s hard [to make time for each other]. I still don’t think we’ve got that balance perfect, but we work on it.”
