Jordan Spieth is a part of the field this week at the AT&T Bryson Nelson at TPC Craig Ranch. It is the last regular PGA Tour event before the 2022 PGA Championship which starts next week. Moreover, a couple of days ago, Spieth spoke about the upcoming major championship and made a bold prediction regarding the event at Southern Hills Country Club.
Spieth made an incredible prediction about the scoring conditions when the event starts on May 19 at the challenging Southern Hills layout.
At the same time, the three-time major championship winner also spoke about how the golf course will play and provided a few important updates about the same. Not to forget, Jordan and his good mate Justin Thomas played a quick practice round at the venue on May May 10.

Surprisingly, Spieth played at Southern Hills back in 2009 at the U.S. Amateur. But according to him now the course has changed a lot. Moreover, the bold prediction about the event will surprise every golf fan.
He said, “I think it’s going to be a really firm and fast PGA and it’s going to be one of the higher scoring PGAs that we have seen. It was a great test. I really enjoyed playing it”

Spieth added, “The golf course was fantastic. I loved it. The green complexes are perfectly fitting to the holes. The greens play maybe three quarters of the size that they actually are. So, you can be left with a lot of really delicate little shots.”
Moreover, Jordan’s words prove the difficulties that the professionals will face next week when the PGA Championship begins. At the same time, it also shows how much the course has changed since the American professional played there for the first time. However, only time will determine whether his prediction will hold or not.
What did Jordan Spieth shoot in his second round yesterday?
The American professional recorded a solid second round at the 2022 AT&T Byron Nelson yesterday. Moreover, Spieth carded a round of seven-under-par, 65 on Friday, and is currently at an overall score of 12-under-par. As a result, he is currently in tied sixth position on the leaderboard and is three shots back from the leaders. Can he win this week on the PGA Tour?
