Significantly, he won with a two-shot lead over Paul Casey and Dustin Johnson. Some of the other top players present on the field were Tiger Woods, Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka, and Jon Rahm.

It was the first major title of his career, and he made it his own by amassing several records. He became only the fourth player since World War II to win the event before turning 24. Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, and Rory McIlroy are the others to achieve this feat.

Furthermore, Morikawa also became the first player to close the last two rounds with a 129 or better at the PGA Championship. Notably, the 2020 PGA Championship was his maiden apperance at the event.

Collin Morikawa has won 5 times on the PGA Tour till now, including two majors and the WGC.

Morikawa has proved his ability to deliver on the big stage. His ace at the Southern Hills is proof that he is there to win another one. Furthermore, his performance this season has been consistent. Do you think the 25-year-old can win the PGA Championship this week?
