Much like almost everybody else, Arnold was also an idol for eight-time Mr. Olympia, Ronnie Coleman. During the 2021 Arnold Classic, Ronnie’s magnificent legacy had him honored with a lifetime achievement award; none other than his idol Arnold gave it to him. After a standing ovation, Coleman spoke about his commitment to bodybuilding and the support from his family.

“I had seen Arnold give this award to other people over the years, and I thought to myself, ‘I’m going to get that someday,’ and here I am,” said Ronnie in his acceptance speech.

As he mentioned his mother in the speech, Ronnie couldn’t contain his emotions. The crowd burst with another standing ovation and added, “Ronnie, Ronnie,” cheers this time out. Moments later, Coleman collected himself as he addressed the crowd’s appreciation. Schwarzenegger took to social media to express his feelings for Ronnie.

Many consider Coleman to be the greatest bodybuilder of all time. Notably, Lee Haney and Ronnie Coleman share the title for most Mr. Olympia wins.
