Jimmy Donaldson, popularly known as MrBeast, is one of the most inspiring celebrities. Known for buying expensive things in his videos, fans are always looking forward to his content.

His notable ones include the $456,000 real-life Squid game parody and the one where he put 100 million Orbeez in his friend’s backyard. But that’s a story for another day, as we have something more important to share.

MrBeast’s philanthropy allows him to land on the show Beyond The Spotlight.

Celebrities are always looking for insightful investments to stay in the limelight. A prime example of this is Leonardo DiCaprio, who produced a TV series called Beyond The Spotlight.

The main idea of the show was to bring out the personal experiences and passions of famous people outside of work. Furthermore, each episode was six hours long and proved insightful for the audience as they learned more about their favorite celebrities.

The third episode of the series hosted Feastables owner, MrBeast. He was selected mainly because of his tree plantation campaign, #teamtrees. Through it, Jimmy raised $20 million to plant 20 million trees. The event turned out to be very successful as it grabbed Twitter owner Elon Musk’s attention.

Apart from that, MrBeast also conducted a campaign, #teamseas for ocean cleanups. Just like the previous one, this event became successful as he raised over $30 million.

The episode aired on 20th October 2020 and had his family’s interview as a bonus. Whoever wishes to watch it can log on to Curiosity Stream and watch it. Do note that the show will only be available after you purchase the yearly subscription.

Now we know why Leonardo DiCaprio is a fan favorite!

Leo never misses a chance to work with people trying to create a difference. In Nov 2020, he collaborated with David Dobrik for a voter drive campaign that introduced over 100,000 new voters in 24 hours.

He then moved on to produce Beyond the Spotlight with his production house, Appian Way Productions.
