Last Saturday, the Buffalo community was stunned to witness an unexpected shootout at their home, taking the lives of 10 people on the spot. Extending support to the families of all the victims, many NFL superstars came forward. Buccaneers’ Tight End Rob Gronkowski was one among them who shared his heartfelt message for all the families.
“Sending much love and many prayers to the city of Buffalo. Especially to the families and friends of all the victims of the tragic victims yesterday. Buffalo will always have a special place in my heart and what happened yesterday is devastating. Stay strong (with a broken heart emoji)” Gronk wrote.

A fully armored man opened fire at the Tops friendly market on Saturday. Around ten people were dead, and 3 of them were injured. Bulls’ young quarterback Josh Allen was next on the line and shared his grief via Twitter.

Bills’ Star safety Micah Hyde was kind enough to extend his support and vowed to donate a portion of the proceeds from his charity softball game. “Thank you Bills Mafia and the entire Buffalo community for coming together today as we begin the long process of support and healing for our community. We are sending prayers to the families impacted, and we will be donating a portion of today’s game proceeds to the families” he said.

According to a media outlet, Hyde was planning to halt Sunday’s game but continued with the match as it attracted an audience of over 10,000 which will help him in donating funds to the bereaved families.
Rob Gronkowski has a long-standing relationship with Buffalo
Even though Rob Gronkowski played a pioneering role in defeating the Bills every time they met, the Buffalo community still loves him. Gronkowski originally hails from Buffalo and spent a significant amount of time in the country.

He attended Williamsville North High School and played for the Spartans in his junior season. The veteran not only played on the football field but also wore jerseys for the team on Baseball and Basketball courts.
“The Bills do mean a lot to my family and I,” Gronk told the reporters during his 2021 face-off against the Bills. “We grew up in Buffalo, 25 minutes from the stadium. I was a big Bills fan growing up,” he added to his speech.
The Spartans alumni registered more than 35 catches for nearly 650 yards and contributed to seven touchdowns in his junior season. Soon he shifted to Pittsburgh in his senior season and gradually ended up with the Patriots in 2010. Thus having sentiments for his home team is quite natural.
