Ant McPartlin was told to ‘stop talking’ by presenting partner Declan Donnelly after he was quizzed about the upcoming all-stars series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! on This Morning.
The Geordie duo were doing the rounds on Thursday, promoting their new children’s book Propa Happy in association with the NSPCC.
But while chatting to ITV daytime favourites Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, they were soon asked about the future of I’m A Celebrity, which has been running for nearly 20 years.
After confirming a return to Australia, they gave the first bit of insight into the additional all-stars series, which is set to be filmed in South Africa this summer.
However, after Ant got a bit too excited about the concept, Dec warned him to be quiet as he let slip some details about the spin-off.
Holly weighed in, calling it an ‘amazing idea’ and asked the pair why it had never been done before.

Ant replied: ‘Well, I don’t know why it’s never been done before!
‘It’s a spin-off from the main show, where we have ex campmates who’ve all come together in South Africa, competing in challenges and trials.’
He quickly turned to his co-host and said: ‘Should I keep talking?’
Dec reminded him: ‘I don’t think you should, I think this is a secret!’

However, as Ant continued to spill the gossip, Dec replied: ‘He’s gone again, he can’t stop talking!’, with his colleague insisting the viewers ‘want to know.’
Fans still have no clue who will be entering the jungle for a second spell, with things being kept tightly under wraps.
But stars rumoured as being eyed up by bosses for a return include Stacey Solomon, Gillian McKeith and Coronation Street star, Helen Flanagan.

A show source previously told Metro.co.uk: ‘The team behind I’m A Celebrity are making a brand new spin-off of the hit series, this time set in South Africa. It will be hosted by Ant & Dec and will feature the most loved, favourite campmates from previous years.
‘The show is still very much based in the world of I’m A Celeb – the campmates will be doing trials and living in the camp environment, but with fresh and exciting new twists on the format.’

The insider went on to add how things will be shaken up in the spin-off series: ‘The campmates will have a hand in their own destiny through a series of internal votes and challenges.
‘This new edition is likely to air in 2023 but before that viewers will get to enjoy the show’s much-anticipated return to Australia in November.’
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! returns later this year to ITV.
