Katie Price is reportedly set to plead not guilty to her speeding charge when she appears in court in July.

Price, 44, was reportedly caught speeding in a BMW near her house in Horsham, West Sussex, just two weeks before she got into a major car crash, for which she was charged with drink-driving but avoided jail

She is also accused of not responding to police letters regarding the incident.

Lawyers for Price have written to Crawley Magistrates Court to indicate that she will plead not guilty, according to the Evening Standard.

Price was expected to attend court on Tuesday regarding the driving incident, which dates back to September 17, 2021. However, she did not attend.

During the speeding incident, Price was reportedly caught by an officer driving over the 60mph speed limit. She is reportedly charged with speeding, as well as being accused of failing to give information to police when asked following a driving offence.

In December, the former glamour model controversially avoided jail in relation to the drink-drive crash that happened on September 28.

Instead, Price received a 16-week suspended sentence for 12 months, 100 hours of unpaid work, 20 sessions of rehabilitation work with probation, and a two-year driving ban.

At the time, the judge warned that she ‘deserved to spend Christmas behind bars’, as when she got behind the wheel ‘intoxicated with drink and drugs, you showed no concern at all for the lives of others’.

The My Crazy Life star is already facing jail after pleading guilty to breaching her restraining order to contact her ex Kieran Hayler’s fiancee Michelle Penticost.

Price was previously banned from going near ex-husband Kieran Hayler’s fiancee Michelle Penticost after allegedly sending Hayler a message on January 21, 2022 branding his new partner a ‘c***ing wh**e’ and a ‘gutter s**g’, while also accusing them of having an affair.

She attended court on Wednesday and pleaded guilty to the charge.

Price previously denied the breach at a court hearing in April at Crawley Magistrates Court.

After her guilty plea, Judge Stephen Mooney warned Price: ‘Clearly you have accepted responsibility for this offence and that you indirectly tried to communicate Ms Penticost despite her restraining order against you.

‘I must warn you Ms Price that you are at risk of going to prison.’

Nicholas Hamblin, defending, said Price had been ‘subject to various conditions’ at the time of the offence.

Judge Mooney said he will ‘need to know’ the background before considering Price’s sentence.

She was bailed ahead of sentencing on June 24.
