Russell Crowe appears to be so enamoured with his role in Thor: Love and Thunder that he’s even made it his profile picture on Twitter.
The actor, 58, will star as Zeus, the god of the sky in Greek mythology, in the upcoming Marvel movie, due for release in July.
Russell changed his profile photo on Twitter to that of him in costume, rocking long locks and gold armour, as he flicks his right hand at Thor in the final moments of the trailer, leaving the superhero stripped of his blue robes.
He did not share any comment on the change of his profile photo to this iconic moment in the teaser trailer.
Russell had given the game away about his involvement in the movie in April after previously being spotted hanging out with the cast in Australia.
He confirmed the news during an interview on Joy Breakfast with The Murphys, joking: ‘I’m gonna get on my bicycle. I’m gonna ride up to Disney Fox Studios, and around about 9:15 I shall be Zeus!’

Thor: Love and Thunder sees Chris Hemsworth return in the titular role alongside Natalie Portman as Jane Foster.
The film also stars Tessa Thompson. Christian Bale and director Taika Waititi.
Taika praised Russell for his work on the flick, telling EW of the Oscar winner: ‘I consider Russell a friend, and I forget that there are some friends I have who are really incredible at what they do.

‘When I was on set with Russell, I was like, “Oh s**t, that’s right! You’re Russell Crowe! You’re a really amazing actor!”’
Taika also compared the difference between Thor: Love and Thunder to working on 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok.
He explained: ‘I guess the biggest difference would be that it was my first time playing in the Marvel sand pit on Ragnarok.
