Harry Styles is teaming up with an anti-gun violence charity for his upcoming North American tour.
The former One Direction star, 28, is preparing to kick off a massive new tour in celebration of the release of new album Harry’s House.
But after the violence seen in the United States, Harry is using the tour to try and raise money and awareness for an anti-gun violence charity.
This week, an 18-year-old man shot and killed 19 children and two teachers at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas.
The shooter, who also died in the incident, has been named as Salvador Ramos.
Harry has now shared a statement speaking of his heartbreak over the latest shooting, and revealed he will be partnering with a charity throughout his North American tour.

Taking to Instagram, the As It Was singer wrote: ”Along with all of you, I have been absolutely devastated by the recent string of mass shootings in America, culminating at the latest in Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas.
‘On our North American tour, we will be partnering with Everytown who work to end gun violence, donating to support their efforts, and sharing their suggested action items.’
Signing off, Harry finished: ‘Love, H.’
He shared statistics from Everytown which state firearms are the number one ‘leading cause of death for American children and teens,’ and urged followers to text Act to 64433 to get involved.
Alongside the post, Harry wrote simply: ‘End gun violence.’
Harry is days away from kicking off his tour, with dates across the UK and Europe in June, before moving on to North America in August.
The star recently played a special gig in London’s Brixton Academy to mark the release of the new album, where he stunned crowds at the intimate gig.
While on stage, Harry held a Ukraine flag in support of the country’s resistance against the Russian invasion.
The Uvalde Elementary School massacre is the deadliest shooting at a US grade school since a gunman killed 20 children and six adults at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Connecticut, almost a decade ago.

Condemning the newest act of gun violence in America, US President Joe Biden addressed the nation: ‘I had hoped when I became president I would not have to do this — again.
‘Another massacre. Uvalde, Texas. An elementary school. Beautiful, innocent second, third and fourth graders.
