In answer to the question, Fashion Mom told her 845,000 followers: “Now I have so many tips on how to look taller because I always finesse the system.”
The fashion influencer then appeared on screen wearing light coloured, ripped mum jeans with a simple black t-shirt and long dogtooth blazer.
Explaining how no parts of the clothing ensemble were doing anything for her, she continued to pinpoint why it wouldn’t suit shorter women.
She said: “This outfit is doing absolutely nothing for my body, nothing for my shape, and it’s definitely shortening me.

“The length of this jacket cuts right at the widest part of my body, the length of this shirt is giving me no shape and no length.”
After lifting the lid on the no-go fashion items, Fashion Mom went on to show how some simple swaps could transform the look – and add height.
She then appeared on the screen wearing the same jeans, but this time with a shorter black top and a black cropped blazer.
She explained: “I love a cropped blazer because it really lengthens the lower half of my body and gives me longer legs, it does not cut me off or shorten me.

“And I always choose a top that’s either a tiny bit cropped or just tucked in, just to give me more shape and more length – it’s generally way more flattering.”
Fashion Mom went on to add that there are two items in your wardrobe which will also come in handy when trying to look taller.
Unsurprisingly, the first is a trusty pair of heels, while the second is a wide leg trouser.
The social media star revealed: “It’s not rocket science that a pair of heels is going to make you look taller.

“But when you’re in a slim fit pair of pants, we can see where your leg stops,” she says as she points below to show that the eye is drawn to the bottom of your trousers.
However, when she reappeared in a wide leg jean, Fashion Mom said everything had changed.

“I love wider leg pants or flares with a wedge or platform heel because you have no idea where my leg stops.
“It really does make you look longer, leaner, more statuesque and it’s such an easy way to cheat the system.”
