Love Island 2022 star Andrew Le Plan went under the knife ahead of his grand entrance to the new Majorcan villa.
The 27-year-old real estate agent, who is among the first batch of singletons signed up for the ITV2 dating show, revealed he had cosmetic surgery on his chest two months ago which prevented him from exercising for six weeks.
While Andrew didn’t divulge the exact medical procedure he had, he told Metro.co.uk: ‘I didn’t need to have it, I wanted to have it.’
He added that the surgery was something he had been considering for a while and would have got at some point regardless of Love Island.
Andrew works as a real estate agent and decided to give Love Island a shot because he’s ‘actually single for once’.
‘This is the best time to give it a go,’ he enthused. ‘I’ve been in relationships for most of my 20s and I’ve always watched the show and thought I’d be good for it, so I thought why not take the opportunity.
Andrew has watched pretty much most seasons of Love Island and has stressed he’s not one to stray from a partner.

‘When I’m with someone I’m very loyal, I’m a good boyfriend as when I’m with someone I’m all for them,’ he said.
‘If I find a connection with someone, then I will stay loyal if I feel like it’s going to go somewhere.’

Andrew hasn’t even set foot inside the villa yet he’s already sent the internet into meltdown – albeit unintentionally – after he resembled a man who stole a woman’s handbag outside a Sainsbury’s.
Yep, really.
Love Island returns Monday at 9pm on ITV2.
