Gwyneth Paltrow had a very cheeky response to Ethan Hawke’s post celebrating the anniversary of their film Dead Poets Society.
The cult classic hit screens 33 years ago this week, and Ethan commemorated the milestone with a set of throwback snaps on Instagram.
In one of the snaps was co-star Robin Williams.
In his honour, the 51-year-old actor captioned the images with a quote from the late star’s character, John Keating, a teacher at an all-boys high school that inspired his students with his poetry lessons.
It read: ‘I stand upon my desk to remind myself that we must constantly look at things in a different way. DEAD POETS SOCIETY Released: June 2, 1989.’
While Ethan was being introspective, Gwyneth totally changed the tone.
The Goop founder took to his comments and cheekily wrote under the post: ‘Best movie EVER. I wish I had made out with more of you than I did.’
To which a clearly amused Ethan shot back: ‘We all wish the same.’
Gwyneth is said to have dated Dead Poets star Robert Sean Leonard in the 90s, but kept their relationship out of the limelight.

Ethan, meanwhile, got his chance to romance the actress in 1998 when they co-starred in the film adaptation of Great Expectations.
But the chemistry was limited to the screen as Ethan was engaged to Uma Thurman at the time while Gwyneth was dating Ben Affleck.
Earlier this week, the actress reunited with her ex-husband Chris Martin for their 18-year-old daughter Apple’s high school graduation.
After the ceremony, at Harvard Westlake School, Gwyneth posted a snap of herself with Chris and Apple in a group selfie.
‘Congratulations to all of the graduates especially @applemartin,’ the Oscar winner captioned the snap.
It has been a time of celebration in their household as Apple turned 18 last month, with her mom marking the occasion with fans on social media.

‘18. I’m a bit of a loss for words this morning. I could not be more proud of the woman you are,’ she added beside the upload. ‘You are everything I could have dreamed of and so much more. Proud doesn’t cover it, my heart swells with feelings I can’t put in to words.
‘You are deeply extraordinary in every way. Happy birthday my darling girl. I hope you know how special you are, and how much light you have brought to all who are lucky enough to know you.
‘Especially me. I say it all the time and I will never stop… in the words of auntie Drew, I was born the day you were born. I love you. Mama.’
