Love Island contestant Liam Llewellyn has revealed a little secret that could see him to be the new Jake Cornish.

Last year, Jake left viewers of the hit reality dating programme pretty grossed out after revealing he has a fetish for feet, and even took his phone out to record a fellow contestant sucking toes as part of a racy challenge.

The 25-year-old had also described his type on paper as: ‘My type, all I ask for is blonde, blue eyes, little feet because I have a massive foot fetish.’

Liam, on the other hand, has denied having a foot fetish, but admits he can ‘appreciate a good foot.’

Speaking to Metro.co.uk, the 22-year-old insisted: ‘I haven’t got a foot fetish but I can appreciate a good foot.

‘There’s a difference.’

Liam will be joining the villa with alongside footballer Michael Owen’s daughter Gemma and the show’s first-ever contestant with a cochlear implant, Tasha Ghouri.

Hinting at any nerves before heading into the villa, Liam admitted: ‘The feeling of not being wanted, in a recoupling or something, being not picked, it’s human to want to be wanted or picking in anything you do, so the feeling of not being picked is definitely a nerve wracking thought for me.’

Liam, who is currently studying for his masters in strength and conditioning, has revealed that he does wear his heart on his sleeve.

‘They’d probably say quite generous, quite caring, happy, chatty, chirpy, bubbly,’ he insisted. ‘I wear my heart on my sleeve, I can’t hide how I feel about anyone. I’m probably quite emotional as well come to think about it.’

When it comes to his flirting tactics, ‘Pay them a compliment!’ he shared. ‘The thing that girls quite like is that I’m not just like, “You’re mint.” I’m like, “Your eyes are piercing, I’m lost in your eyes.”

‘Or I’ll say something like, “You’ve got nice feet” or something.’

Let’s hope that works…

Love Island starts Monday June 6 at 9pm on ITV2.
