WWE legend Edge was betrayed on Raw as Judgement Day gained a new member before kicking out their leader.

Monday night’s show saw the intimidating group – which also includes Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest – welcome Finn Balor into the ranks 24 hours after defeating him, AJ Styles and Liv Morgan at Hell In A Cell.

However, the trio identified the Rated R Superstar as the weak link holding them back and unleashed a vicious beatdown on the man who brought them all together.

The segment started with Edge, Priest and Ripley gloating about their win on Sunday night, before the Ultimate Opportunist announced Balor as the newest member of the group.

Referencing Edge’s entrance music, he noted he finally sees things clearly, and thanked both Rhea and Damian for helping open his eyes to the truth.

However, things took a turn when the Archer of Infamy claimed the last thing holding the group back was Edge, with all three members jumping on the attack.

The Prince hit a Coup de Grace on the Hall of Famer, who was put through the announce table and laid out with a con-chair-to.

Meanwhile, it was a fantastic night all round for Rhea Ripley, who found herself in the main event battling Liv Morgan, Alexa Bliss and Doudrop with a Raw Women’s Title shot at Money In The Bank on the line.

Bianca Belair was at ringside to get a closer look at her potential challengers, and all four women were given the chance to shine in a brilliant match to headline the night.

In the end, Ripley – who definitely came across as a next level star here – picked up the win with the Riptide on Doudrop, and fans are in for a treat when she reignites her rivalry with the EST of WWE with the gold up for grabs.

Seth Freakin’ Rollins decimates Cody Rhodes, Dana Brooke stuns Becky Lynch and more

The show kicked off with Cody Rhodes coming out to address the fans following his uncomfortable and emotional victory over Seth Freakin’ Rollins at Hell In A Cell despite going into the match with a legitimate and nasty pectoral tear.

The American Nightmare described wrestling as a privilege and suggested while he’s set for surgery this week (Wednesday, in fact), he is eyeing up the possibility of competing at Money In The Bank in just a few weeks.

Rollins eventually came down to the ring and insisted Rhodes had earned his respect, and he even told Cody that his late dad Dusty would be proud of him right now.

The Visionary left Rhodes to soak up the roar of the crowd, before returning to decimate him on the stage, attacking his pec with a sledgehammer and targeting the injury with a stomp.

Becky Lynch and Dana Brooke’s match got interrupted by the 24/7 Title nonsense with the latter pinning Akira Tozawa for the gold.

Big Time Becks – who is on a downward spiral – insisted only she gets to win a championship in her matches, and the action got restarted with the gold on the line only for Asuka to help Brooke pin the mega-star.

The MIz and Maryse hyped up their reality show on Miz TV before Riddle interrupted, trading insults with the married couple and even laying down a challenge for Roman Reigns.

Ciampa attacked him out of nowhere, which led to a match between The Miz – in his suit – and the Original Bro, who was able to win an entertaining clash with an RKO.

The Street Profits beat The Usos in an exciting match setting themselves up for an Unified Tag Team Title match, with the action as thrilling as you’d expect.
Montez Ford in particular continues to look like an absolute star.

Bobby Lashley looked to move on from MVP and Omos, only to get interrupted by the United States Champion Theory, with the All Mighty laying down a challenge.

Veer beat Dominik Mysterio in a decent bout when the latter’s dad Rey got involved to protect his son and caused a disqualification.

Elsewhere, Omos beat Cedric Alexander with just one move, and after the match Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode came out for an interview, which led to Dolph hitting MVP with a superkick before the Dirty Dawgs bolted.

Ezekiel beat Otis in a fun but brief match, with the real drama coming after the bell when he challenged Kevin Owens to a rematch next week.

KO accepted, providing Zeke would admit he’s actually Elias – which he did, before revealing he was lying and he’s actually Ezekiel, Elias’ younger brother.

WWE Raw airs Monday nights at 1am on BT Sport 1.
