Anyone who’s watching the 2022 series of Love Island will know how passionate Luca Bish is about being a fishmonger, frequently bringing up his profession during his search for love.

However, the 23-year-old from Brighton has taken his love for fish one step further, donning fish shoes in the villa while wooing fellow islander Tasha Ghouri.

During Wednesday’s episode, Luca and Tasha went off for a private chat, which is when she revealed that Andrew Le Page had lied to her about her not being in Luca’s top three, much to his annoyance

As viewers watched the conversation unfold, they couldn’t help but notice his footwear, with several saying how much they loved his fishy feet.

‘Sorry has nobody clocked that Luca is wearing FISH SHOES are u kidding me,’ one person tweeted.

‘Does Luca have like koi fish shoes on?! What are thoseeeee!’ another remarked, referencing the viral ‘what are those’ meme.

Someone else wrote: ‘I know Luca loves his job but he’s taking it a step too far with his fish shoes.’

Nonetheless, another expressed how much they loved his sartorial flair, writing: ‘The fact Luca Bish who sells fish is wearing fish shoes. I love him.’

We know Love Island can often influence fashion – but after Ikenna Ekwonna’s crocs, we weren’t expecting fish shoes to be a talking point if we’re being honest!

Luca happened to be wearing the eccentric shoes while having a more serious conversation with Tasha, after discovering the fib that Andrew told her in bed.

This resulted in Luca confronting real estate agent Andrew over the lie, who claimed he would never have lied to her ‘on purpose’.

Meanwhile, masters student Liam Llewellyn could have a new romance on the cards, after business owner Davide Sanclimenti stole dressage rider Gemma Owen from him.

At the end of last night’s episode, it was revealed that Liam had been chosen by the public to go on dates with the two new bombshells joining the villa – lounge host ​​Afia Tonkmor and actress Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.

So will Liam find a connection with either – or both – of the new arrivals? Or will he stay hung up on Gemma?
