It’s been a week and it’s safe to say this year’s Love Island has already got us well and truly hooked.

The first episode of the ITV dating show traditionally sees the girls lining up and the boys taking their pick for the very first coupling. However, this year they didn’t have a say.

Instead, the couples were decided for them in a public vote.

So far we’ve had three bombshells enter the villa, and a fourth making his debut tonight – as well as the shock exit of Liam Llewellyn after he admitted he ‘wasn’t feeling 100%’ ever since he entered the villa. 

After Friday’s recoupling, fans are eager to know what drama awaits, and although we are aware of everyone’s ages, how tall are they?

Gemma Owen

Gemma is five foot and six inches tall, and an international dressage rider and business owner from Chester.

She is also the daughter of former professional footballer Michael Owen, who played as a striker for Liverpool, Real Madrid, Newcastle United, Stoke City, and Manchester United.

Gemma’s Instagram account boasts nearly 24k followers at the time of writing – a jump from the 9k she had before appearing on Love Island.

Luca Bish

Luca is five foot and eleven inches tall, and is a fishmonger from Brighton.

The 23-year-old is was initially coupled up paramedic Paige Thorne, but he recently made his feelings known for Gemma.

Tasha Ghouri

Tasha is five foot and seven inches tall, and a model and dancer from Thirsk, North Yorkshire.

Prior to her entrance, Tasha, 23, was introduced as the show’s first Deaf contestant.

During Monday’s debut, fans were in awe after Tasha called a group meeting to share that she wears a cochlear implant.

Indiyah Polack

Indiyah is five foot three inches tall and a hotel waitress from London.

In the first instalment of Unseen Bits, both Indiyah and Ikenna Ekwonna shared several adorable moments behind the scenes, which has prompted viewers to call for more screen time between the pair during the main show.

Fans were under the impression that pair weren’t too keen on each other, but now we’re rooting for them.

Ikenna Ekwonna

Ikenna, 23, has already confirmed he is six foot five tall and pointed out he thinks his height will be an asset when it comes to attracting women. 

He said: ‘Look at my height – I’m 6ft5. I don’t think there are that many people my height, with my complexion or my looks!’

Paige Thorne

Paige stands at the height of five feet and five inches.

In the first episode, she took a shine to Luca with the pair already having a pretty WTF conversation about their favourite sex positions.

But after Friday’s recoupling, she is currently single.

Amber Beckford

Similar to Paige, Amber also stands at the height of five feet and five inches.

Amber Beckford is a nanny from London. She decided to sign up for this year’s Love Island because now ‘just feels like the right time’.

She is currently coupled up with microbiologist Dami Hope.

Dami Hope

Dami is believed to be over six foot.

The 26-year-old microbiologist is currently coupled up with Amber.

‘Love Island is a different experience, I will be talking to different girls, it might not go well with some, might go well with others, so it’s a fun experience,’ he enthused.

Andrew Le Page

Andrew is six foot one inches tall, and a real estate agent from Guernsey.

The 27-year-old is currently coupled up with Tasha.

He’s decided to give Love Island a shot because he’s ‘actually single for once’.

‘This is the best time to give it a go,’ he says.

Divulging what makes him a good partner, Andrew admits: ‘When I’m with someone I’m very loyal, I’m a good boyfriend as when I’m with someone I’m all for them.’

Davide Sanclimenti

Davide is six foot two inches tall, and is from Italy.

The Italian stallion caused quite a stir as he chose to couple up with Gemma, who was originally paired with Liam Llewellyn.

Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu

Ekin-Su is believed to be five feet and eight inches tall.

The 27-year-old actress already managed to stir the pot, flirting up a storm with Davide, much to Gemma’s annoyance.

Afia Tonkmor

Afia is believed to be five foot and five inches tall.

Ahead of her entrance into the Love Island villa, she admitted that she saw coming onto the show as a ‘once in a lifetime opportunity’.

‘It just seems like a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet someone, have an amazing summer, just have so much fun and have a bit of a summer romance as well,’ she said when asked why she decided to come on the show.

While Afia appears excited to get going, she also admitted that she falls for people ‘too quickly’… so could someone catch her eye when she meets the other islanders for the first time?

‘I fall in love quickly, too quickly, two dates I am like, “OMG I am obsessed with this boy, he’s everything,”‘ she confessed.

Jacques O’Neill

Jacques is five foot eleven inches.

After Friday’s bombshell, viewers are curious to know whether spark will fly between him and ex-girlfriend Gemma, or whether he’ll take an interest in someone else.

Speaking ahead of his entrance, he said: ‘I split up with my ex and then I was seeing someone else.

‘I was concentrating so much on my rugby and then I had that injury. I think it needs to be the right person, at the right time. ‘

Summing up his dating history in one word, the sportsman simply replied ‘steady.’

Love Island returns tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
