The Rest of the World secured a victory against England for a fourth year running.

Idris Elba, Laura Whitmore and Sir Mo Farah were among the stars partying after the success of Soccer Aid 2022.

The annual event sees stars come together to play a huge charity game of football, with England facing off against the Rest of the World – or World XI- for the 10th instalment since Soccer Aid was founded in 2006.

This year it was a close call, with the game ending in penalties and Lee Mack scoring the winning goal for The World.

Most importantly, the event raised £15million for Unicef.

Stars were out in full force to celebrate at the Nobu Hotel in London, with Idris rocking up to support his pals.

He looked casual in a shirt, jeans and trainers, while his wife Sabrina looked stunning as always in a white dress, black jacket, and some eye-catching red boots.

Sir Mo Farah also made an appearance after playing for England in the game, swapping his football kit for a dapper blue suit.

He had an eventful game after gently carrying a young pitch invader to safety during the match.

Line of Duty’s Vicky McClure also headed out, after her co-star and friend Martin Compston’s team secured the win, while Christine McGuinness was also all smiles.

Also enjoying the event were stars including Laura Whitmore, James Nesbitt and Tom Grennan, as well as Jessica Wright, James Argent, and Love Island’s Amber Gill.

It was a close match, with the sides drawing 2-2 by the end of 90 minutes, although comedian Lee’s penalty ensured that the World XI secured victory over England for a fourth year running.

Robbie Williams, who initiated Soccer Aid in 2006 with Jonathan Wilkes, performed at halftime, getting the whole of the Olympic Stadium singing along to his hit song Angels.

Noah Beck was first to score for World XI, with Mark Wright scoring an equaliser for England – both on penalties.

England then took the lead with a goal from Tom Grennan, before Kem Cetinay scored for World XI.

Despite scoring the winning penalty, comedian Lee played it cool after chatting aboout his goal, saying: ‘Only touched the ball once when I came on, my penalty!’

Ukraine’s Andriy Shevencho and Jamaica’s Usain Bolt lifted the Soccer Aid trophy, with the stars sure to be thrilled with the amount raised for Unicef.
