So with that in mind, we’re now constantly on the hunt for dresses, skirts and trousers which look super chic – but more importantly, are comfy to wear.

And fashion influencer Maria has certainly found that in this trendy New Look frock.

Earlier this month, the style blogger posted a TikTok video raving about the £29 polka dot midi dress.

She wrote: “I am in my midi dress era.

“I fell out [of love] with them over the pandemic but I am now reminded they are truly unmatched.”

Listing off all the practicalities, she continued: “Bloated? Midi.

“Hairy legs? Midi. Windy day? Midi.”

Along with statement puff sleeves, the cotton-linen blend dress also has flattering ruching around the bust.

After being quizzed about the dress in the comments, Maria added: “I have it in two prints, I just love it!”
