The Wendy Williams Show has been cancelled after 13 years with its final episode to air this Friday.
The talk show programme was due to continue through to the end of its current series with a number of rotating guest hosts lined up after presenter Wendy was forced to take a break due to ongoing health issues.
It’s been confirmed she will not be present for the last episode but will feature in a video montage tribute.
‘The final original episode of The Wendy Williams Show will air on Friday, June 17th, with a video tribute to the iconic host,’ a spokesperson said.
‘The series comes to an end after 13 successful years in syndication,’ they continued in a statement to Deadline.
Wendy has not yet commented on her show’s axe.

The television personality has been out of the spotlight for several months now due to complications with Graves’ disease, an autoimmune condition where your immune system mistakenly attacks your thyroid which causes it to become overactive.
Speaking on Good Morning America in March, Wendy addressed claims that she’s an ‘incapacitated person’ who is suffering from ‘undue influence and financial exploitation’.
Asked if she’s of sound mind, the entertainer responded: ‘Absolutely! Are you?
‘When people want control of their accounts, they say anything, including something crazy like that about me.
‘They say that I need somebody to handle my account and I don’t want that. I want all my money.
‘I want to see all my money that I’ve worked hard for my entire life. I don’t lie, I don’t cheat and I don’t steal. I am an honest, hard-working person.’
