Tom Parker’s widow Kelsey Parker has explained her daughter Aurelia thinks her father is still ‘on tour’ as she detailed conversations she has with her children on Lorraine.
Tom died in March at the age of just 33, following a diagnosis of a terminal brain tumour in 2020.
He left behind Kelsey, as well as their two young children Aurelia, 2, and Bodhi, 1, who their mum has been honest with over their dad’s death.
She appeared on Tuesday’s edition of Lorraine to chat about her grief, as well as Tom’s Sunday Times bestseller, Hope: My Inspirational Life, published last month.
While speaking about the book’s success, host Lorraine Kelly asked her about an adorable clip which saw Aurelia excited to see her dad’s face on the book while on a recent shopping trip.
Kelsey explained: ‘Whenever she sees her dad, she’s like, “that’s my dad!”

‘I’ve been really honest but she does still talk about him every day and she doesn’t quite understand that he’s not coming back.’
She went on to add: ’I have to be really blunt to say, ‘he’s not coming back, that’s it, he’s dead and he’s not coming back’.

‘Because she doesn’t really understand. Obviously, where the book’s out and she’s seen him in store, she’s a bit like, “well he’s been on tour so is he gonna come back from this?”’
The guest added how she talks about her late husband ‘every day’, with Aurelia always asking Kelsey about her dad.
She added: ’She does ask me every day about him and obviously we have little things around the house of Tom’s.

‘She’ll see like his wallet and be like, ‘Oh that’s daddy’s wallet”.’
Kelsey shared how she is coping with her loss and how she tries to stay in a good mood for her young children.
She said: ‘They wake up happy, they wake up in a good mood so then I can’t be sad. And he wouldn’t us to be sad and mourning.
‘Don’t get me wrong, I get my bad days, of course, I do. At night it is lonely, I am lonely, but this is my life, I have to get on with it.’
