**Warning: Contains spoilers for Everything I Know About Love**

Dolly Alderton has admitted she would love to see a second outing of her series Everything I Know About Love, which many fans have already watched in full on BBC iPlayer.

The semi-fictionalised series, which is based on Dolly’s memoir of the same name, tells her own story of growing up in London in her early 20s and her deep friendship with her best pal.

We see this shown through the main duo Maggie (Emma Appleton) and Birdy (Bel Powley), who are absolutely inseparable as they prepare to move into their first London home with friends Nell (Marli Siu) and Omara (Aliyah Odoffin).

However, when Birdy gets into an unexpectedly serious relationship, their friendship is put to the test for the first time ever.

But will there be any more to come from the ultimate platonic love story?

It hasn’t been confirmed either way whether there will be more episodes of Everything I Know About Love in the future.

However, with the series being left on a very bittersweet note, fans will surely be wishing to get more insight into their new favourite girl gang.

Dolly herself has already been open about her desire to make a second season, and what she would love to see unfold within any further episodes.

Speaking at the premiere back in May, she told Metro.co.uk and other press: ‘I would love there to be a season two. In the book, as well as about your 20s it’s, we’re honing in on a very specific bit.

We also really want more! (Picture: BBC / Working Title / Universal International Studios Limited)

‘In your 20s I still think that the difference between a 24-year-old and a 27-year-old is enormous. It’s like dog years! I feel like there are so many stories out there are so many things that I want to know about the girls.

She went on to share: ‘I want to know more about Nell’s family, and I want to know more about Omara’s love life.

‘I want to know about… there’s just so many things that I’m desperate to get into with all four of them. So I would love another series, please!’

Meanwhile, Bel Powley gushed to press at the same event that she would also love to be involved with another season.

She said the girls ‘all definitely want there to be a second series’ as she made it clear that ‘the first series is an introduction to these characters.

‘There are so many places the show could go. I don’t know what necessarily I want my character to be doing [in a second season]. I don’t know… break up with Nathan!’

Consider Dolly and the cast already down, then, but as nothing has been said by the BBC just yet, stay tuned for updates…

Everything I Know About Love continues tonight at 10.40pm on BBC One and can be streamed in full on BBC iPlayer now.
