Tristan Thompson has appeared in Drake’s new polygamy-themed music video for Falling Back and Kardashian fans are not amused.
Chart-topping singer Drake dropped his surprise album Honestly, Never Mind with just a few hours’ notice on Thursday, with the music video for track Falling Back following on.
In the song’s video, Drake is seen tying the knot with 23 brides in one ceremony following reassuring words from his best man, played by basketball player and ex-partner of Khloe Kardashian, Tristan.
Helping him dress for the big day, Tristan checks that he is feeling ‘ready’, saying: ‘Doesn’t feel right, we scrap it, we go home, it’s done.’
After 35-year-old Drake reassures him that he’s ‘ready to settle down’ and ‘in love’, Tristan comments: ‘You only get married once’.
However, his unexpected appearance in the video came just hours after the release of the finale episode of The Kardashians season one, which laid out his latest cheating scandal.

The reality show revealed that Khloe only learned of Tristan being unfaithful to her again when the rest of the word did, which she branded ‘an additional slap in my face’.
‘Drake casting Tristan Thompson just shows how men enable their toxic friends, and that’s just the culture. That playboy sh*t is just not cute,’ wrote on fan on Twitter, while another asked: ‘Why do we (Drake) keep giving Tristan Thompson a platform?’
‘Not Tristan Thompson and Khloe saying everyone needs forgiveness (24 hrs ago) but is in Drake’s music video as his best man where Drake marries 23 women,’ observed one person on social media.

Others branded the move ‘diabolical’, but some were amused, laughing at Drake being ‘a menace’ for the casting choice.
Chicago Bulls player Tristan, 31, fathered a baby son with Maralee Nichols, born in December, sleeping with her on his 30th birthday when he was reunited with Khloe.
Tristan shares daughter True, four, with Khloe, and accepted he was the father of baby Theo following the results of a paternity test.

He issued a lengthy apology at the time, saying sorry to Khloe for his actions.
The pair dated for five years on and off, with their relationship plagued by cheating accusations against Tristan.

Khloe has since confirmed the end of their relationship once and for all and was seen packing up a removal box and sealing it with tape during the show’s finale, telling viewers: ‘I wanted to believe that Tristan could change. I wanted to trust him.’
