Lauren Smith took to TikTok page to share her “epic fashion fail”, as she began: “I went to Primark to buy socks. I didn’t buy the socks!”
First up was a cute blue dress with a lemon print, which she struggled to even get on.
“Are you serious right now?” she said as she tried to pull it over her bust.
“Ok. boobs are in. A midi dress but it barely got over my boobs – literally it flattens them completely.

“Can I make it look cute? No no no.”
Next she tried on a tiered yellow dress, which had been teamed with a belt on the mannequin in the store.
But when Lauren wore it the same way on herself, it was incredibly short.
“I’m all here for trying minidresses but this is a top,” she said.

“I’m saving money with this haul at the minute!”
She hoped for more success with a tweed-style minidress which she picked up in the reduced section of the discount store.
“It was like sort of in the sale for £7 and now I understand why, because you cannot possibly have curves in Primark,” she fumed.
“This is what’s happening,” she said as she turned around to show that the zip at the back of the dress was nowhere near closing.
“This is why people don’t shop on the high street!”
Lauren also picked up a black swimsuit, which she had “high hopes” for, but ended up looking “pornographic”.
And the sarong she teamed it with wouldn’t fit over her hips.
“It just feels like one of those towels get at a hotel that don’t fit,” she said.

“Oh my god, this is not it!”
A crop top was also a big fail, as it was “too big and too small at the same time”.
And then Lauren came to try the last piece of clothing she’d bought from Primark – a pale yellow dress.
“Oh! It’s not bad,” she said with surprise.
“This is just quite sweet isn’t it.”
But she added she’s “undecided” on whether or not she’ll keep it, especially as it’s “quite see through”.
Concluding her video, Lauren said: “Part 1 was an epic fashion fail. Primark are catering for not my body this summer.”
People in the comments section were quick to agree with her that Primark is not the best place for plus size women to shop.
“Primark ain’t catered for curves for ages and they’re not even cheap anymore,” one person sighed.

While another added: “Primark isn’t made for anyone but size 6-8..everything is too tight no matter how big or small you are.
“Sizes are not correct.”
