Loose Women’s Ruth Langsford insisted that although the panel engage in ‘heated discussions’ they have nothing but love and respect for each other.
At the beginning of the year, the ITV daytime show was faced with rift rumours behind the scenes, however, bosses strongly denied claims that the hosts – which includes Stacey Solomon, Carol McGiffin, Janet Street-Porter and Judi Love – were refusing to work with Coleen Nolan, after her agent called Nadia Sawalha a ‘nasty witch’ on Twitter.
Since then, co-presenters have rubbished the claims and Ruth expressed how tiring it is when people ‘pit women’ against each other in every industry.
‘We have some heated discussions,’ she told Lorraine during Monday’s edition of her titular show.
‘But we don’t fall out, somehow people just love to pit women against women, don’t they.
‘We do disagree about things, but then five minutes later we laugh and talk about something else.’

She continued: ‘We’re such a diverse group of women, different age groups, different views and different opinions on things.
‘So many times I go on that show, I think one thing and by the end of the discussion I’ve changed my mind.’
Presenter Frankie Bridge admitted she was a little apprehensive to join the daytime panel after ‘feud’ rumours came to light.
Speaking to Fabulous magazine, she said: ‘I think it’s sad that this doesn’t happen on something like A League Of Their Own with a group of men. It’s just not mentioned.

‘I get on [with everyone]. There’s not one person that I would say, “don’t put me on with them.”

‘Even during a heated debate on the show, during the break everyone’s fine. So I don’t know if it’s true or not, but I’ve just never experienced it. I get on really well with Coleen.’
A rep has since told Metro.co.uk that reports of the hosts not wanting to present with Coleen are ‘untrue’, adding: ‘Panellists are chosen for each show by the Loose Women Editor and senior production team, not the panellists themselves.’
Lorraine airs weekdays at 9am on ITV.
