Amber Heard is planning to write a tell-all book, it has been claimed.
The Aquaman actress was sued for defamation by ex-husband Johnny Depp over an op-ed she wrote in the Washington Post, discussing her experiences with domestic abuse.
After a lengthy trial, a jury found in favor of the Pirates of the Caribbean actor, awarding him $10million – while she won one count of her countersuit and was given $2m in damages.
Her lawyer previously confirmed that she was unable to pay this and would be appealing the jury decision.
According to reports, she has decided to pen a book and is ‘excited’ to get it all out on the page – but it is not clear what she will be writing about.
‘Amber considers her career in Hollywood over. She’s already in talks and is excited about it,’ an insider reportedly told OK! Magazine.

‘At this point, she has nothing to lose and wants to tell all.’
Depp filed a $50m lawsuit against his ex-wife over an article she wrote in 2018 – while he was not named in the piece, his team argued that it implied he was physically and sexually abusive during their relationship, which he has denied.
After a six-week trial which was livestreamed on YouTube, and 13 hours of deliberation, a jury eventually ruled in favor of the Edward Scissorhands lead.
In a Dateline interview after the verdict came in, Heard revealed that she has a ‘binder full’ of notes taken by her doctor, going back years, detailing the alleged abuse during their relationship.

However, speaking in the same interview on the Today Show, she voiced her fears that she could be taken to court once again for speaking out.
When asked by presenter Savannah Guthrie whether she is nervous about what she can now say, Heard replied: ‘Of course. I took for granted what I assumed was my right to speak.
‘I am scared that, no matter what I do, no matter what I say or how I say it, every step that I take will present another opportunity for silencing, which I guess is what a defamation lawsuit is meant to do – it is meant to take your voice.’
Depp’s team later slammed the Justice League star for appearing in the sit-down interview, accusing her of reimagining the trial.

‘It’s unfortunate that while Johnny is looking to move forward with his life, the defendant and her team are back to repeating, reimagining and re-litigating matters that have already been decided by the court and a verdict that was unequivocally decided by a jury in Johnny’s favor,’ they said.
To which Heard’s spokesperson replied: ‘If Mr Depp or his team have a problem with this, we recommend that Johnny himself sit down with Savannah Gutherie for an hour and answer all her questions.’
