WHEN it comes to stocking up on cute summer dresses for this season’s wardrobe, 28-year-old Chantelle Mcsharry knows exactly where to shop.

Contracts Manager Chantelle, from Falkirk, is a self-confessed Primark superfan, and visits the store up to four times a week.

Chantelle tried on 10 different Primark summer dresses and gave her verdict

This week she tried on ten summer dresses and here she shares her verdict on this season’s outfits she loved – and loathed – the most.

However even though she spends up to £300 a month in the store, even Chantelle struggles with the sizing, and says: “I’m a size 14 but I always go up a size as I feel sizing is really off just now.

“It does depend on what retailer you go too, but Primark is one of many retailers I find unreliable for sizing at the moment.

“I still love their stuff though, so I just get the size I am most comfortable and feel good in.”

Beauty fans go wild for Primark’s latest dupes, including a Hoola copy

‘One of my favourites’

Chantelle was a big fan of the colour and material of this eye-catching numberChantelle Mcsharry

Chantelle says: “This was one of my favourites and I absolutely adored this dress but I did wish it was just a swing dress and the fabric was looser at bottom.

“The brightness of colours worked well together, and the material was nice and soft.

“It also fitted really well, and it was only £9.”

‘Did nothing for me’

Chantelle felt the fabric was too cheap on this numberChantelle Mcsharry

Chantelle says: “This one just didn’t do anything for me.

“The fabric felt cheap, and while the colours were great but it just didn’t sit right and I didn’t feel comfortable in it.

“This cost £7 and I personally wouldn’t recommend.”

‘Too tight round my boobs’

The fit wasn’t quite right for Chantelle’s figureChantelle Mcsharry

Chantelle says: “I really did like this one, but I am very top heavy so it just didn’t fit right round my chest.

“I loved the tones of reds, pinks and then the added blue  complimented it very well.

“The fabric felt great on and this dress was only £7 which amazes me considering the last outfit I tried on felt nasty and cheap.”

‘Can’t go wrong’

The Primark summer equivalent of the classic little black dressChantelle Mcsharry

Chantelle says: “Another favourite – this is a classic black swing dress and great material.

“Everyone loves a black dress, because you can dress it up, dress it down and black I feel compliments everyone.

“You can’t go wrong with it, and I loved this one on. This cost £9.”

‘Material felt like cheap bed sheets’

Chantelle wasn’t a fan of the material of this dress, even though she loved the coloursChantelle Mcsharry

Chantelle says: “I felt this one looked lovely on the coat hanger and the colours green and white looked fresh.

“However the material felt like cheap bed sheets and I didn’t think it was going to be possible trying to get it over my boobs.

“It cost £13 and didn’t fit nice.

“For the price I don’t think it is worth it considering some of the other outfits I tried on were cheaper.”

‘A bargain’

Chantelle McsharryAt £9, this summer dress is a bargain[/caption]

Chantelle says: “I felt this one was very cute, but again, it didn’t fit well at the top so I would recommend a size up to compliment the top half.

“I added nice sandals to make it casual, and the material felt lovely on and it was stretchy which I prefer.

“This cost £9 which I think is a bargain.”

‘Not for me’

This dress just wasn’t Chantelle’s usual styleChantelle Mcsharry

Chantelle says: “This dress was lovely to look at, material was nice and it fitted, but it didn’t do anything for me.

“I think the problem was it just isn’t my usual style at all.

“However, for £11, it is perfect for someone whose style it would compliment.”

‘Couldn’t button up over my boobs’

Chantelle McsharryWhile she loved this dress, it didn’t fit over Chantelle’s chest unfortunately[/caption]

Chantelle says: “I couldn’t even button up at my bust hence why there no picture of me in it!

“However, the dress is beautiful and just so eye catching.

“The material felt like a soft shirt type and every third person I walked by in Primark had it in their hand.

“I loved the colours orange and pink and I feel this dress would look amazing on anyone regardless of shape or size but I do recommend sizing up from your normal size if you are top heavy.

“This cost £11 which is just amazing!”

‘Leaves nothing to imagination’

Chantelle McsharryThis one was too see-through for Chantelle to take a photo[/caption]

Chantelle says: “This is see through and leaves nothing to the imagination.

“Unless you are maybe going to use it for over a swimsuit, then I don’t recommend.

“However the fabric felt amazing so it is a shame – but for just £6 I can understand why.”

‘A bargain at £13’

This dress proved to be the winner, and Chantelle bought it along with the hot pink sandalsChantelle Mcsharry

Chantelle says: “I just loved this dress so much as I felt it could be used for numerous occasions from weddings, garden parties, on holiday, and you can dress it up or down.

“The different pinks and white went well together, the material feels amazing on and most importantly it is comfortable.

“I highly recommend this dress to anyone who like this type of style. I ended up buying this one and it cost £13 and it was so worth it.
