WWE superstar Rhea Ripley has suffered a ‘brain’ and ‘teeth’ injury which is keeping her out of Money In The Bank.

The Judgement Day villain was set to face Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Championship at the event on July 3 but it was revealed on Monday’s show that she isn’t medically cleared to compete.

WWE hasn’t clarified her status beyond that, but Rhea has offered an update in a response to a sceptical fan on social media.

She shared a series of gym selfies on Instagram, with one follower commenting: ‘You don’t look injured like someone said 👀👀’

However, the 25-year-old star was quick to point out that not all injuries are visible, and suggested they were ‘reaching’ with their response.

She replied: ‘brain/ teeth. Can’t see a brain injury. Stop being incompetent and reaching at nothing (sic)’

This exchange comes hot on the heels of Rhea replying to a Twitter troll with a savage put-down after they decided to comment on her recent image overhaul and union with Finn Balor and Damian Priest in The Judgement Day.

Referencing her short black hair, the user replied: ‘You need to leave judgment day You were better when you’re on Monday night raw and your hair was a lot better how it was before long hair… And blonde you were better looking that way I know it’s probably best for business.’

Rhea wasn’t impressed, and replied with an egg emoji alongside a pretty scathing response.

She tweeted: ‘Bald ass mf telling me how to style my hair… Salty coz he lost the chance to style his own’.

Meanwhile, her injuries have forced a reshuffle to the Money In The Bank card, as Monday’s episode of Raw featured two matches with major implications for the Las Vegas premium live event.

First, Carmella won a bout featuring Alexa Bliss, Liv Morgan, Asuka and Becky Lynch to replace Rhea and challenge Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Title.

Then, Asuka and Lynch once again met in the main event to take Carmella’s spot on the Money In The Bank Ladder Match, with the Empress of Tomorrow picking up the huge victory.
