Love Island star Remi Lambert has opened up on getting into several altercations with Jacques O’Neill, which weren’t shown to viewers.
Remi entered the villa as a bombshell alongside Jay Younger, but was dumped from the villa just days later after failing to turn any of the girls’ heads.
However, despite Remi seemingly having a fairly undramatic time in the villa, he’s now claimed to have been involved in ‘a lot of arguments’ with another fellow islander.
He got into several scraps with rugby player Jacques, who is also the ex-boyfriend of Gemma Owen.
Speaking alongside Afia Tonkmor on the podcast Reality with Will Njobvu, Remi reflected on why he felt a bit ‘deflated’ by his experience.
He told the pair: ‘There was a lot of stuff that wasn’t aired, lots of stuff that went on,’ before asking whether he was able to expand.

Remi continued: ‘Basically, me and Jacques got into quite a lot of arguments, it made my experience s**t, it ruined it for me.
‘People were saying it was because he has a rugby persona, but you can’t treat anyone like that.

When asked what happened, the model, 22, shared: ‘He was just trying to get on to me, being like “My name’s Remi, I’m hard, I’m from Manny [Manchester]”.
‘It was constant, it was so jarring, but I was the only one to stick up for myself, he would always do that to people.
‘I’d tell him to shut up. We just got into a lot of fights,’ he told Afia and Will.
It comes as Remi posted a story on his Instagram on Thursday night admitting he and Jacques faced issues in the villa.

Responding during a Q&A session on the social media platform, he labelled Jacques a ‘muppet’ when asked who was someone he ‘really didn’t get along with.’
But he later told intrigued fans it was ‘a story for another day.’
It comes as Remi also spoke out on his fumbled rap on After Sun, and admitted he received death threats after the TV moment.

He said: ‘I was nervous, on After Sun, I had an earpiece and I could hear the reverb of my voice and it swayed me off.
‘We all make mistakes, no one’s perfect. Everyone expects me to be like a robot,’ he told host Will.
He went on to say of the negative response from some social media users: ‘It was peak, I’ve been sent death threats.

‘People were saying, “You’re never going to make it, you can’t dance”.
‘With the dancing, I was just doing that for fun… I was just trying to have a good time with my boys. Let’s just keep it moving.’
